Rehoboth Beach vacationers, after waiting out the COVID pandemic, finally were able to be photographed on their favorite beach off of Virginia Ave. Little man was not a fan of sitting with the family on the beach. This happens all of the time! When I tell you that sessions are "child led" this is exactly what I mean. He wanted to chase birds and that is what we did! Chasing the birds resulted in all the smiles from everyone. The best thing you can do for family photos is show
A surprise marriage proposal, during a scheduled photo session with Shannon Ritter Photography, was a shock only to Ashlee. Klay and Shannon had spoken about the proposal and how it would all go down. As one of the many pose prompts, Klay and Ashlee stood back to back. This allowed Klay a split second to flash the ring to the camera. He then got down on his knee and asked Ashlee to turn around. Below, you see them holding hands and laughing just before he was on his knee. She
Cape Henlopen State Park hosted Delaware's Dewey Beach vacationers, for a photography session gifted to the grandparents in celebration of 35 years of marriage. They had their children and their newest granddaughter on the beach to enjoy the sunset. The littlest one was not a fan of the cold water but you would not know it from all of her smiles. Of this 40 minute session, baby was happy for 35 minutes of it. She was given little breaks and got all of the cuddles in between p

Tweens have learned the rules and are ready to apply them to the real world. Perhaps their sense of style has developed too. Helping your kid
This Dover, Delaware allergy doctor, Joel Temple, had portraits with his wife of 63 years in their yard. Their granddaughter, of Milford, purchased the session as a gift to her mother for her mom's birthday. The idea for the session was inspired by how they wave goodbye to their guests after a visit! (Oh how I wish I had photos of my grandparents like this! Yes, I have many many photos of them. Just wish I had more and them on their porch.) Written by their granddaughter: Mar
In home newborn sessions, in Maryland and Delaware, are the easiest thing you can do with a newborn. I bring everything to your home. This includes bowls, blankets, wraps, hats and bows, a heater and lighting. (And my cameras of course.) Your body is healing, you are exhausted, and feeding a baby is work! Sessions with me are set up to be easy. No need to clean or get dressed. Really, I have brought two babies home and photographed many newborns. I have seen it all, promise!
