Your Sussex Courthouse wedding can have a vintage glamour vibe; the Georgetown architecture alone makes this one of the most underrated historic wedding locations in Delaware. These photos are proof that you can have a timeless wedding with 24 hour notice which included wedding flowers, faux fur coat, a wedding dress, and the people most important to them. Georgetown is an ideal locations for an intimate micro-wedding that is charming photographically, fun for you and your spouse, and as Ashley says "the way everyone should do this."

Bride is on the right hand side of the photo with a large faux fur jacket that is hanging off her shoulder. The groom is in a black fitted suit. Their outfits fit a glamours vintage wedding.

Ashley said over and over, "Everyone should do this [get married] this way!" My job is to document your day and be a fly on the wall so you don't have to pose. The picture below is Ashley actually fixing her hair and the naturally accruing smiles of both her and her almost husband are priceless. Being a documentary photographer means that I am not giving you directions of what to do. You can see in this picture I had my camera ready to go watching for these moments to unfold. All weddings have these moments! And the only way to have them captured is to have a photographer that is trained in anticipation.

Intimate Wedding Photographer -Trained In Anticipation-

Hiring a photographer is no easy feat. With a shorter timeline and less guests you only a professional will photograph you with intention in their anticipation. A professional wedding photographer must have appropriate gear, experience in posing grumpy family members, and knowledge of using their gear without thought. I talk about this a lot on my home page, because I hear at 95% of weddings at least one nightmare story about wedding photography. Professional wedding photographers have at least two FULL FRAME cameras and I bring a third to your wedding day. Professionals have a clear plan for wedding day crisis for all of their gear. Wedding photographers should carry multiple memory cards and photograph your day in 4 places at once. Having back ups for all of my wedding day gear including off camera flashes, batteries, light stands, memory cards, cameras, lenses, and transmitters. As a wedding photographer, you have to know your gear well enough that you make quick adjustments to settings without thought all while directing people in changing settings. Only after all of that can a documentary style professional photographer be able to watch and anticipate stunning moments from your day.
